Sleepy time has been kinda tough lately, not to mention nap time.
We put a toddler bed in the girls room months ago but they would not stay in it so we have been putting them in their cribs. Over the past few days they have been requesting to "nuggle in da big bed." Most of the time this has just resulted in jumping on the bed, several attempts to come out of thier room, biting, hair pulling, hitting etc (all those lovely coping techniques that toddlers use when they are tired and cranky but keep fighting sleep).
Tonight a minor victory for us. They both snuggled up together, quietly read a story and fell asleep without a major battle.
They are so precious when they sleep. I think they are so cute at night remind us how sweet they really are despite all the antics and tantrums during the day.

walk about
Noelle flying high and loving it
Our precious Noelle
Lizzy the daredevil trying to climb a rock
Sweet Elizabeth
The girls loved exploring this place. They insisted on walking on their own...more like running on their own. They went in every direction possible like watching little bees in flight. This kinda stressed their dad out a bit but I loved to just watch them explore natures playground.

april
When Noelle wanted to help herself to a snack from the fridge she did not grab the little string cheese packs...Oh no, she grabbed the 2 pound block of cheddar that had only a few slices taken out of it. Apparently she must have tired of it after a few bites because she left it on the floor. Indy was quick on the scene arriving just seconds before I got there. Noelle went ballistic when Indy started chomping down the entire block, I wasn't very happy either. Some of you might remember the video of Indy loaf of bread video from several months ago.
A few months ago I purchased a fridge lock to keep the kids out. This useless contraption lasted a whole 3 minutes before the kids busted it open and were back in the fride. Today we had another fridge raiding incident...This time Indy scored 4 bunches of garlic...not just 4 cloves. As if his dog breath could get worse.
I was starting to get excited when the snow was all melted. I thought spring was here...but then I woke up today and saw this.
The two cuties snuggled up in the morning while I was making scrambled eggs.
