I realized that I did not blog at all in 2016. Jed put a blog post up after Indy passed away and then I haven't really done anything since. The truth of the matter is 2016 was not a good year for us. It started with my grandpa Dale having a stroke on New Years Eve that would take his a few days later. Then Indy died in January and that kinda set the tone for a not so great year. It seemed like most of the machines around our house also stopped in 2016 including our boiler, our car, sewing machine, camera, ice maker, toilet, garage door, washing machine and we replaced our roof.
But despite our losses and frustrations there was also some good things that happened in 2016 too. We still find ourselves extremely blessed. We were able to travel quite a bit and see a lot of family. We were able to add baby Addison, baby Kinley and Baby Charlie into the family. We got our new puppy, Pippa, who is an adorable ball of curly black hair and energy. Due to my broken camera, I don't have a ton of pictures for the year and can't figure out how to add ones from my phone, so here's a select group from the computer to highlight some of our adventures and cool photos we snapped along the way.
