What to do with all these fish

The fun part of dip netting is catching the fish. Cleaning and processing the fish is where the real work lies. Fortunately, the same army that helped harvest the fish also helped us clean them too. We even had a few extras come over to help. We clean off the fish, fillet the fish, clean again, put the fish in bags, and vaccuum pack the fish. It gets a little fishy smelling after a while but it is worth it to have our freezers full of yummy red salmon for the year.

Wow, Melissa, your photos are great...they give the feeling that we are right there with you cleaning all that salmon.
